Volvo will !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! their first crossover sedan in Detroit soon. What's the point of getting a perfectly pretty car and giving it a donkjob?
At least it isn't nearly as bad as the BMW X6M/X4M and the Mercedes GLE coupé.

This, Is something that I'd be OK with. I don't know how I feel about that though, Is that website reputable even?
Another thing that I can see is that with the suspension already raised significantly. That way some 20 inch Dubs could probably fit even nicer in there!

Well, this isn't the first time this type of car has been offered by manufacturer. Subaru did it too with Outback sedan.

Yeah, but the Outback is much more coherent with itself than the S60. IMO, the S60 definitely doesn't look good with this high suspension and the black plastic wheel arches...

I don't mind the body shape really. But the additional ride height just looks odd to me. I think this would actually look pretty sharp with a drop to normal height, but that would defeat the whole purpose.

I can think of only one good reason; it's AWD and ground clearance. Plus, as Americans and older people will go, they will love a higher road vehicle.
Doesn't make it right though, :p.

I bet you this will be a hit with old people. They love the Volvo Lineup already because of the seats - adding the extra height will allow old people to have nice seats and get in and out of it easy, without having to buy an XC60 or an XC70.

I don't entirely hate it. Also, thank you for adding the word "donkjob" to the English lexicon.

Ok, Soooooo. It's bigger than I thought it would be, Haha.
I'm sure that Mannie Fresh and the Big Tymers will like it though. "Got a quarter tank of gas, In the new Volvo S60 Cross Country."

Give it 5 years and all the people that will buy these used will throw on mud flaps, rally lights, and the prancing moose badge. You rarely ever see a modded Volvo gone wrong.
I an entirely okay with this.

Haha, I'm not even a native english speaker, but I tried to find a word which meant "to transform something in a donk". The donkjob came to my mind :)

That is reminiscent of the New Beetle Dune concept.
